Our Community Worship Schedule:

Worship is held on the second Sunday of each month. Services begin typically at 4:00PM or 5:00PM. Please check the  the Worship schedule below for exact times. Worship time is typically followed by a fellowship hour with snacks, and sometimes a brief cultural program.

Our services are typically a short-form service which is sometimes called "Jashou" Service. Worship consists of readings and singing and usually is about forty minutes in length. Communion is not distributed at these services since no priest is present to celebrate the full Divine Liturgy.

About four times per year visiting priests celebrate the full Divine Liturgy. These are usually on, or close to, the major feast days of the Armenian Church, including Christmas, Easter, Assumption and the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross.

Location:

Services are held at the beautiful stained glass adorned Memorial Chapel of the First United Methodist Church, 1201 Lavaca

First United Methodist Church is located on the northeast corner of Lavaca Street & 12th Street, on the west side of the Capitol in downtown Austin.
